HEART-CENTERED SHAMANISM II

Prerequisites are Heart-Centered Shamanism I Workshops, "Awakening the Shaman Within I & II" and advisebly the "Vision Quest" or "Shamanic Counseling Skills" workshops before advanced training involved in soul retrieval and extraction. you must be experienced and confident in your journeying skills.





Soul Retrieval Workshop I:  September 24-26, 2010                Cost: $325.00

This workshop is advanced shamanic study into energy medicine, the psychology of dissociation, and soul loss and recovery. It involves being initiated into a tradition with sound ethical principles and a considerable amount of secret knowledge. Because of the great amount of content and practices involved, the workshop is divided into part one and two. In this workshop you will further map and explore the three worlds, gain special tools for on site and long distance journeys, learn Fire Talk protocols for pinpointing likely areas of soul loss in a counseling or coaching session.



Soul Retrieval Workshop II:  Nov. 5-7, 2010                 Cost: $325.00

This workshop extends the knowledge and experience gained in workshop I, and adds the actual practice of diagnostic and permission journeys, and then running actual an actual soul retrieval on a classmate, and learning how to help this individual welcome, process, and integrate the returned energies (soul parts). You will learn principles of how soul recovery work can be extended into a clinical counseling or coaching context.





Extraction Workshop:   Feb 11-13, 2011                        Cost $325.00

This workshop deepens and extends our knowledge of energy medicine, and focuses on how to locate and remove energetic intrusions, blocked energy systems in the charkas, and much more. Using your spirit guides, and in concert with special shaman tools, feather diagnosis and extraction, crystal healing and limpias---purificaition ceremony will be learned, complete with formulae and chants.  Finally the course will review ethical principles, record keeping, confidentiality, follow-up on clients, and how to market, set up web pages, and promotional literature for your shamanic services will be covered.





Wilderness II: Wounded Healer Summer School  Aug 6-13, 2010 and Aug 5-13, 2011      Cost  $500.00

This is run currently with the Vision Quest on South Manitou Island, and includes ceremonies and practices for cleaning out your own mental and emotional wounds. By learn to do this work on yourself, you build up a wounded healer data-base for helping others. Mikkal, using Toltec, Iachak, and divination Journey techniques, along with journaling process, helps each participate focus and have a powerful method for doing this work. Fire Talks are held in between intensive inner work sessions, to process with each other.



The Next cycle (for 2010 -2011) beginning with Awakening the Shaman I is April 23-25, 2010

Crows Nest is a Wilderness Retreat Center. You can bring a tent, sleeping bag and camp out in the woodland campsites, the guest house is available on a limited basis, and you may prefer an area motels --although most camp out at Crows Nest, and it is free.

If you are flying into South Bend Indiana Regional Airport, arrangements should be made in Advance with Crows Nest to pick you up and shuttle you to Crows Nest.

What to Bring to a Workshop. Generally you receive specific details after you have registered, or upon request. For single day events bring a bag lunch, for over-night and longer workshops we pitch in a food, usually have a larged cooked meal, and breakfast is provided. In addition to sleeping bags, you may want to bring a cushion or pillow, warm socks and lose clothinig, a bathing suit if a Sweat Lodge is planned, and yourt drum, rattle or other instrument for drum circles and Fire Ceremonies. Bring a bandana or eye pillow, a water bottle, a journal and a pen. A flash light and layered clothing are recommended for early spring late fall, and winter.
